The Tahtali cable car, also known as the Olympos cable car, is a popular tourist attraction located in Antalya, Turkey. It is the longest cable car in Europe and takes visitors up to the summit of Mount Tahtali, which stands at 2,365 meters (7,759 feet) above sea level.
The cable car ride itself is approximately 10-12 minutes long and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and coastline. The cable car cabins are spacious and comfortable, and each one can accommodate up to 80 people.
Once visitors reach the top of Mount Tahtali, they can enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Taurus Mountains, and the surrounding landscape. There is also a restaurant and a viewing platform at the summit, where visitors can relax and take in the views.
The Tahtali cable car is open year-round, and the operating hours may vary depending on the season. It is recommended to check the schedule and purchase tickets in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons. The cable car is located approximately 20 km (12 miles) from the city center of Antalya and can be reached by car, taxi, or public transportation.

The views from the top of Mt Tahtali over the surrounding countryside and the Mediterranean are simply spectacular. And the journey to the top is just as much fun. At 4,350 metres, the Olympos Aerial Tram is one of the longest in the world and an adventure in itself. You'll board the gondola at the modern base station and ascend over the Olympos-Beydaglari National Park. The summit is at 2,365 metres above sea level and is snowcapped in winter. As you climb, you'll be treated to some fantastic views that stretch far out over the sea. And it gets even better when you reach the top – the viewing platforms at the upper station provide a 360-degree panorama across the surrounding landscape.
